Words-Worth Relaunched
Sixteen years have passed since words-worth.de went online. It was minimalistic, simplistic, but functional. Although it has served us well, we feel the time has come for change. We want to give Words-Worth a new face.
This new website has been built using WordPress, with a content management system (CMS) that allows us to manage everything far better. We now have an archive and we may eventually begin to blog.
So here’s to the next 16 years with customers old and new, interesting and challenging translation assignments – and a sustainable online presence with a new look and feel.

Words-Worth: Robin Stocks
Expertise in financial translation and environment policy
Robin Stocks began translating on a freelance basis in 1991. His specialisms are business, economics and financial reporting, European law, environmental law and environment policy.
A native of Rotherham (South Yorkshire) and resident in Germany since 1989, Robin originally worked in structural steel and as a sales representative before going on to gain a BA in International Business with Languages at Sheffield Hallam University (UK).
Inspired by his placement year in Germany, Robin returned to Bonn where he established a successful translation business in 1991. Alongside his freelance translation activities, he was co-proprietor and managing director of a software company, Cybox Communications, from 1994 to 1997.
Words-Worth Stocks & Stocks GbR builds upon the experience of Stocks Translations, a sole proprietorship established in 1991.
Not only is Robin a successful translator, he is also an accomplished musician – he plays piano, viola and violin. He also dances Argentine Tango. Robin’s other foreign languages are French and Spanish.
